According to the official statement released by the company on its website, Agroliga management has made a decision to postpone its secondary placement of shares on Warsaw Stock Exchange due to “the stock prices instability of Ukrainian companies associated with the dynamic political situation in Ukraine…” It had been stated by the company that it would make an attempt to attract additional funding upon stabilization of macroeconomic and political situation and Ukraine. Company also mentioned potential risks and their effects on company’s operations. Hryvna devaluation, potential implementation of new tax on land, and potential decline of living standards in Ukraine were mentioned in the statement. Majority of these risks do not have direct effect or have an insignificant effect on company’s performance. Alex Morgun, financial analyst of UkrAgroConsult mentioned that Agroliga was amongst few public agrarian businesses that reported growth of net income, despite smaller value of revenue derived from revaluation of biological assets. Company’s net income is measured at USD 4.58 million for 9 months of 2013, which comprises 8.8% increase compared to USD 4.2 million for the period of 9 months of 2012.
