According to the official statement made by Russian Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance, products of Myronyvskiy Poultry Processing Plant are no longer allowed on the territory of Russia until further notice. Apparently, Russian Agency found hazardous components in chicken from Ukrainian plant, leading to investigation initiated by the agency. Ukrainian Veterinary Service got involved and was expected to visit the plant with inspection. However, Ukrainian Veterinary Service revoked exports certificate of the plant and it has not been renewed until this day forward. Due to the fact that there were no official statements released by either MHP or Ukrainian authorities, UkrAgroConsult would like to refrain from commenting on the situation. We will continue to monitor its progress and announce any further developments on the situation.
