Kernel released operational results for Q4 2013

According to the official report released by Kernel, the following production, sales and output figures were made available:

Grain sales increased by 245.6 thousand tons or 22.5% compared to 1 335 thousand tons compared to the same period in 2012

Bulk oil sales fell by 120.9 thousand tons or -31.6% to 261.7 thousand tons compared to the same period in 2012

Bottled oil sales dropped by 3 385 thousand liters or -10% to 30 375 thousand liters compared to the same period in 2012;

Volume of sunflower seeds crushed fell by 34.1 thousand tons or -4.5% to 726.1 thousand tons compared to the same period in 2012;

Refined oil production grew by 787 tons or 2.3% to 34.6 thousand tons compared to the same period in 2012;

Bottled oil production grew by 714 tons or 2.3% to 31.5 thousand tons compared to the same period in 2012;

Export terminals throughput grew by 44.9 thousand tons or 3.7% to 1 269 thousand tons compared to the same period in 2012;

Grain and oilseeds received in inland silos grew by 823.3 thousand tons or 50.7% to 2 447 thousand tons compared to the same period in 2012;
General tendency for Kernel is increase is sales for grains and decline in production and sales of oilseeds, including refined products, such as bottled oil. At the same time vertical integration of the company allowed it to increase volume of commodities stored in inland silos as well as commodities transferred through large export terminals available for the holding. We are looking forward the financial results of the company for the Q4 2013, as Kernel reported net loss for Q3 2013.
