UniCredit not leaving Ukraine

The Italian bank UniCredit is not currently negotiating the sale of the Ukrainian daughter, Head of UniCredit Central and Eastern Europe Division Gianni Franco Papa has said, according to Deutsche Welle.
"Despite the difficult political situation, the bank continues to work in Ukraine. A lot of rumors are being spread now, but there are no negotiations on the sale of the Ukrainian subsidiary bank," the banker said.
A reminder that the process of integration of Ukrsotsbank and UniCredit Bank - two Ukrainian assets of UniCredit - ended in December 2013.
