Finance Ministry places government bonds at almost UAH 1.2 billion

The Finance Ministry attracted to the budget UAH 1.15 billion from the sale of government bonds at the first auction of 2014.
The Ministry's press service informed about this.
"By results of holding the planned placement of government bonds January 14, 2014, UAH 1.15 billion (by the NBU rate) was attracted to the state budget.
The Finance Ministry satisfied one of 14 bids for the purchase of the hryvnia bonds with the yield of 8.75% and a circulation term of 273 days.
In addition, the Ministry satisfied all five bids for the purchase of five-year stocks in the national currency with the yield of 14.25%.
To remind, the Finance Ministry placed government bonds in January-November 2013 at UAH 55.795 billion, USD 4.577 billion and EUR 61.11 million.
