Inflation in Belarus slows down to 1.6% in November

In November 2013 inflation in Belarus slowed down to 1.6% while in October it was 1.9%, representatives of the National Statistics Committee of Belarus told BelTA.
In November the consumer price index totaled 101.6% as against October 2013 and 113.8% as against December 2012.
In November food prices rose by 1.2% from October, 10.9% up from December 2012. Non-food prices rose by 0.6% from October, 6.8% up from December 2012.
The index of prices for paid services totaled 103.7% as against October and 132.6% as against December.
In 2013 inflation in Belarus is expected at 15-16%. In 2012 it reached 21.8%.
