According to the official statement released by the WSE New Connect on its official website, Cyprus-based company Cereal Planet with its main operations located in Eastern Ukraine, is preparing for the listing on the New Connect. It has been stated earlier that the listing was planned for October of 2013, however, the first trading day for the company is currently planned for December 9, 2013. The main activities of Cereal Ukraine are manufacturing, processing and packing of grits along with grocery trading and distribution in the Eastern Ukraine. The manufactured and distributed products are presented in main wholesales and retails networks. Cereal Ukraine exports to more than 25 countries.

UkrAgroConsult comment: Cereal Planet will be the second Ukrainian company to place its shares on New Connect after Agroliga. Despite most recent events in Ukraine and increased country risks overall, as well as agriculture risks Cereal Planet managed to increase its net profit over the past 2 quarters compared to 2012 results, despite declining sales. Most recent successful share performance of Agroliga might also contribute to the success of Cereal Planet IPO. We will be following the situation and will keep you updated.
