KSG Agro acquired company with 2 thousand hectares land bank

According to the statement made by the company, KSG Agro has acquired agrarian business with land bank of 2 thousand hectares in Dnepropetrovsk region. At the same time company has sold Agro Dnister in Khmelnitskiy region, which was located further from main assets of the company. KSG Agro stated that the current land bank of the company after the two transaction mentioned above, were completed is estimated at 96 thousand hectares. KSG Agro previously stated that it is planning to increase its land bank by 30.4% in 2013 to 120 thousand hectares with the total annual increase of 28 thousand hectares.
UkrAgroConsult comment: Holding is aiming to grow its operations, while increasing efficiency of the production cycle. Optimization of land bank is expected to be central tendency for Ukrainian agro holdings in the future periods.
