Agrogeneration is aiming to increase land bank to 180 thousand hectares by 2017

According to the official statement made by the newly appointed CEO President of Agrogeneration, John Shmorgun the company is aiming to increase its land bank by 50% of 60 thousand hectares from the current 120 thousand hectares over the next 2-3 years. I has also been stated that the company is looking to purchase companies with land bank in Kharkiv, Sumi, Zhytmomyr, Ternopil and Lviv regions. Company also considers possibility to increase its storage capacities over the same period.
UkrAgroConsult comment: Agrogeneration is following the way of other major Ukrainian holdings, who still aim at increase of assets, including land bank. However, with lack of external financing we have noticed a swing from increase of assets to modernization of assets for increase of effectiveness of their use.
