Ukraine's Minister of Agricultural Policy and Food Mykola Prysiazhniuk and Minister for Food and Disaster Management of the People's Republic of Bangladesh Mohammed Abdul Razzaq held talks in Kyiv with a view to expanding trade relations in the supply of agricultural and food products to the markets of both countries, the Ukrainian ministry reported.

Following the meeting, the parties agreed to draft a memorandum on cooperation between the ministries in agriculture sector in the following areas: agricultural education; exchange of information on bids to supply agricultural and food products; assistance in finding interested partners to establish trade relations; cooperation in agricultural science and research; cooperation in crop sector and livestock, participation in trade fairs in both countries.

Apart from this, the parties agreed to draft a contract on the supply of corn products to the Bangladesh market appointing responsible agencies from both sides.

Ukraine will also consider a visit to Bangladesh of the Ukrainian Minister of Agricultural Policy and Food Mykola Prysiazhniuk to sign a draft memorandum and that of the Ukrainian business delegation - for a joint business forum.
