The state reserve finally starts flour production

Now that Ukraine’s internal flour prices have skyrocketed, the government finally decided to respond by sending 18,000 tons from the state reserve to state owned millers for milling. Of course 18,000 tons is insignificant considering the government has accumulated over a million tons of wheat, and domestic demand for flour based products is on average 500,000 tons a month. The response seems inadequate.
