Russia’s grain harvest increased by 13.8% on the year to 68.4 MMT as of September 13, according to a statement by the Agriculture Ministry.
Farmers milled grain from 30.5 Mln ha, or 65.2% of the sown area, which is 2.9 Mln ha less than at the same date last year. The yield amounted to 2.28 t/ha for the current year, compared to 1.83 t/ha a year earlier.
