According to the official information released on company’s website, Ovostar Union will invest up to USD 90 million in development and modernization of its production facilities in the next 3 years, 2014-2016. Company has stated that reconstruction of “Ukraina” factory will be completed by the end of 2013, which will make 5.4 million bird placing stalls available. Similar facility is currently being constructed in Kiev region, the number of bird placing stalls will be increased from current 1 million to 4.6 million. By the end of the investment program in 2018, company is aiming to increase poultry numbers by 2.3 times to 9 million pieces. Egg production is expected to reach 2.1 billion eggs, liquid egg products’ production is expected to reach 14 thusand tons and dried egg products are expected to be produced at the rate of 2.2 thousand tons.
