China's foreign direct investment growth eases in August

China's foreign direct investment grew only 0.62 percent in August from the previous year, a report released by the Ministry of Commerce showed Tuesday.
China attracted $8.38 billion investment in August, which was down from $9.41 billion seen a month ago. Investment surged 24.13 percent in July.
During January to August, foreign investment advanced 6.37 percent to $79.8 billion.
