Generali OFE Pension Fund cut its share in Ovostar Union

According to the official information released by Generali Otwarty Fundusz Emerytalny released on Warsaw Stock Exchange, pension fund has cut its share in egg and egg products manufacturer Ovostar Union from 10.36% to 9.94%. The number of shares was cut by 25 000 to 596 344 shares. The sale transaction was carried out on September 6, 2013 and was made public recently. There were no details revealed regarding the reasoning that caused the fund to lower the presence of Ovostar Union in their portfolio.
UkrAgroConsult comment: Ovostar Union was amongst the few companies that have shown increase of average daily return in 2012. However, over the past year, company’s market capitalization fell by -5.46% to EUR 124.8 million. Composite capitalization of Ukrainian Agrarian Holdings on global stock exchanges has fell as well, which might have been caused “sell” decision for Generali OFE fund, for part of Ovostar Union shares.
