Avangard is planning to use 25% of net profit for dividend payouts

According to the official statement released by the holding after the shareholders meeting on September 12, 2013, Avangard is planning to use 25% of the company’s net profit for the dividend payments. By the end of 2013 holding is expecting 2 poultry production complexes construction completion, which will increase poultry count by 6 million units, which will enable the company to obtain additional revenue, which will be used for the dividend payouts.
UkrAgroConsult comment: Avangard is in the same situation as the majority of the holdings in Ukraine, the external funding is scarce, costs of production of rising, while prices for the agricultural products are either declining or growing at a slow pace. It is most likely that the 2013 dividend payout is intended to attract investors in the future.
