According to the official statement made by the majority owner and head of board of directors, Oleg Bahmatyuk Ukrlandfarming increased its land bank by 138 thousand hectares from 532 thousand hectares to 670 thousand hectares by purchasing Valinor assets in Ukraine as well as 20 other Ukrainian companies. There were no details released concerning the deal with Valinor, as the details were promised to be released in the future. Oleg Bahmatyuk stated that increasing land bank as well as company’s product line allows better risk minimization for the company.

UkrAgroConsult comment: Ukrlandfarming is aiming to increase its land bank significantly as a part of its expansion program. It has been stated by its management that large size of the company does not interfere with effectiveness of its operations. We have not had the chance to look at holding’s financial reports, as the latter have not been published. Based on majority owner’s statement, company has experienced growing revenue levels, EBITDA and net profit.
