Ukrlandfarming is planning to export 500-700 thousand tons of corn to China

According to the official statement made by Operations Manager of Ukrlandfarming, Galyna Kovtyuk, Ukrlandfarming will start exporting corn during 2013-2014 marketing year, aiming to export 500-700 thousand tons of corn. Ukrlandfarming is also planning to become amongst the top-3 exporters during the current marketing year. As of March 1, 2013, company is amongst the top-4 exporters of corn, while sown areas for corn will be increased by 19% to 300 thousand hectares in 2014.
UkrAgroConsult comment: Ukrlandfarming is following the trend, aiming to enter Chinese market, while expending its share in exports. It is difficult to comment on company’s operations as its financial and operational reports are not published at the moment.
