Ukraine and Germany will be able to realize their economic and commercial potential more effectively. This was started by the First vice Prime Minister of Ukraine Serhiy Arbuzov in Berlin during a meeting with the Vice-Chancellor, Federal Minister of Economics and Technology Philipp Rösler.

"Between our countries there is a significant commercial and economic potential. The future association with the EU will create the preconditions for its full development. There will be more firmness, confidence in the Ukraine and understanding our aspirations," the First vice Prime Minister said.

Serhiy Arbuzov called investment climate one of the priorities of economic bloc of the Cabinet. Great expectations in this regard, he connects with the creation of a deep and comprehensive FTA with the EU. The First vice Prime Minister is confident that its creation would benefit to European partners of Ukraine.

The First vice Prime Minister told about the efforts to reduce the administrative burden on business, strengthening its legal protection, equal access to all segments of the market, the transparency of privatization processes.

According to him, with the active assistance of the German capital modernization of Ukrainian gas transportation system has begun. And thanks to the cooperation with the German energy concern, Ukraine joined the European spot gas market.

At the same time, Serhiy Arbuzov said, Ukraine remains an important player in the energy sector for the EU and the European Energy Community, the most cost-effective way for gas transit to Europe lies through Ukraine. In turn, Germany is an important partner of Ukraine in many areas, such as energy efficiency technologies, renewable energy and energy efficiency. In addition, there are many long-term investment projects in Ukraine, where participates German investors.

The German side, in particular, marked the progress in the implementation of joint production of agricultural machinery.
