European experience of establishment and operation of agricultural cooperatives is adopted in Ukraine. Especially for that purpose the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food with the technical support of the EU hosted a seminar where more than 150 participants from all regions of Ukraine found out more about the advice of experts from France, Italy and Poland. The participants also decided to create All-Ukrainian Community Expert Cooperative Council.

"The European Commission Program TAIEX – is a tool for information exchange between countries on various aspects of economic, social and political development. But the conversation at the seminar went beyond simple experience exchange ", - said the moderator of the seminar, Director of Scientific-Methodological Center" Agroosvita" Iryna Synyavska.

In particular, the representatives of regional and district departments, educators and researchers, village heads and cooperators who participated in the seminar found out more about legal aspects of cooperatives activities, the management, pricing and marketing. Especially the audience was interested in the establishment of service providing cooperatives and those that produce milk, meat and wine.

The participants also decided to create All-Ukrainian Community Expert Cooperative Council. And already in September common recommendations developed by scientists, producers, leaders of rural communities will be brought for public discussion and submitted for approval to the authorities. It should be recalled that last year the Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food, Mykola Prysyazhnyuk offered the initiative "Native village", which provides social and economic development of rural areas due to creation of cooperatives.
