The Agricultural Policy and Food Ministry of Ukraine set intervention prices for grain crops and flour for 2013/2014 marketing year by its relevant order of June 26, 2013.

According to the document, the minimum and maximum prices for 1 class wheat are UAH 2,021/ton and UAH 2,470/ton respectively, second-class wheat - UAH 1,841/ton and UAH 2,250/ton, third-class wheat - UAH 1,736/ton and UAH 2,122/ton, four-class wheat - UAH 1,667/ton and UAH 2,037/ton, five-class wheat - UAH 1,480/ton, and UAH 1,809/ton and six-class wheat - UAH 1,437/ton and UAH 1,756/ton.

The minimum and maximum prices for rye were set by the Agricultural Policy and Food Ministry at UAH 1,601/ton and UAH 1,957/ton respectively, second-lass rye - UAH 1,525/ton and UAH 1,864/ton, third-class rye - UAH 1,453/ton and UAH 1,776/ton.

To remind, minimum and maximum intervention prices were set for the Agrarian Fund to purchase foodstuffs within the approved range of prices.
