Agroton owner claimed 51% of company’s shares

According to the official statement released by the company, 51% of Agroton shares were claimed by entrepreneur Yuriy Zhuravlev. These shares were owned by Mr. Zhuravlev through Irish company IFG Directors Limited. On 4th of July company’s Board of Directors handed 1.106 millions of shares to Yuriy Zhuravlev, who is a founder and general director of Agroton. Main assets of the company are located in Lugansk region. Company’s rating was lowered from B- to CCC.
UkrAgroConsult comment: The transfer of shares was made due to new legislation arranged between Ukraine and Cyprus, as new tax regime was implemented which will help avoiding double taxation.
