Agriculture ministry: Ukraine exports 22.7 mln tons of grain since early MY

As of June 25, 2013 grain traders exported abroad 22.7 million tons of grain since the beginning of 2012/2013 marketing year, the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food said in a statement Wednesday.
"In particular, in June 834,000 tons of grain were shipped, and in May - 956,004 tons," the report said.
According to the ministry, Ukraine sent to foreign markets 6.8 million tons of wheat (food wheat - 5.9 million tons, fodder wheat - 914,300 tons).
To date, the country exported 2.1 million tons of barley, 13.4 million tons of corn, 43,006 tons of rye, 1.2 million tons of rape, and 1.4 million tons of soy.
Earlier, Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food Mykola Prysiazhniuk said that in 2012/2013 marketing year, grain trading companies will be able to export about 23 million tons of grain.
