Ukraine’s largest sunoil producer Kernel Holding has completed a deal top acquire Druzhba Nova agricultural company, the company reports. According to this information, the completion of the acquisition was enabled by obtaining appropriate permission from the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine.

Reportedly, in June the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine permitted the Netherland company Erste B.V., which belongs to Ukraine’s largest sunoil producer Kernel Holding, to buy a stake in the authorized capital of the Kyiv-based company Tweelingen Ukraine, the founder of Druzhba Nova agricultural company. In early April 2013, Kernel Holding signed an agreement to purchase 80% of the agricultural company with a 108 Th ha land bank for USD 68 Ml. The purchase object’s name was not disclosed at the moment of the purchase announcement. But it became known later that the matter concerns Druzhba-Nova, which cultivates crops and raises livestock in Chernihiv, Sumy and Poltava regions, possesses a more than 5,000-head cattle herd and an own elevator facility.
