Italian entrepreneurs from sectors such as renewable energy and infrastructure have shown interest in increasing investments in Albania.
The Italian Chamber of Commerce in Tirana, in cooperation with the Italian Ministry for Economic Development, organized in Tirana on Monday a conference with Italian and Albanian entrepreneurs to increase cooperation between them, and present the best operation practices in these sectors.
The conference underlined the need to launch new cooperation initiatives, of mutual interest for the two countries.
Italy has offered support for the "Alamein Shqiperia" project, which provides for the promotion of trade, industrial and technological cooperation in sectors as environment, energy and infrastructure between Albanian and Italian enterprises.
Italy is the main partner in terms of the trade exchange volume with Albania, covering around 40 percent of the total.
