MHP completed acquisition of Russian holding

According to an official statement made by MHP Chairman of the Board of Directors Victor Kosyuk, holding acquired Russian group “Voronezh Agro Holding”. It has been stated that the acquisition was evaluated at USD 100 M. Company is not planning to do any additional improvement within the new company due to its good state. “Voronezh Agro Holding” is a subsidiary of “Rusgrain Holding”, which is specializing in growing, processing and sales of grains and oilseeds. “Voronezh Argo Holding” is specializing in growing crops only. MHP acquired 50% of company’s shares to become major stockholder.
AgroInvest comment: MHP securing assets in Russia indicated that company is aiming to diversify its revenue sources with further diversification of company’s activities.
