Agrarian sector is becoming more and more interesting for investors. With this aim the Government and Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food take measures so that to make conditions of doing agrarian business more transparent and understandable. Already this year the agriculture can receive around USD 3 billion of foreign investments. In particular, these funds can flow to realization of investment projects in cattle breeding, agriculture machine building, greenhouse facilities, irrigation systems, development of infrastructure of agrarian market and food industry. This was informed by Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food Mykola Prysyazhniuk during a discussion panel meeting “Investments into agrarian industry of Ukraine. Let’s feed the world together!” which was held in the frames of the first international business conference «ABC: Ukraine & Partners».

“Nowadays the agrarian sector of the national economics has a really high level of investment attractiveness. In particular, extremely attractive for investors appear branches of national agriculture machine building, cattle breeding, food industry, greenhouse economy. Besides, foreign and domestic investors express bigger interest into development of infrastructure of agrarian market, irrigation systems,” Mykola Prysyazhniuk noted.

The Minister stressed to make the national agro-industrial complex attractive for investors, the Government of Ukraine is working on improvement of agrarian market. Apart from that, the authorities pay maximal efforts so that the state policy in the area of agriculture will become more understandable, transparent and predictable.

And this, according to the Minister, will help to grow the showings of gross production of the national agro-industrial complex, which contribute to ensuring the world food security.
