Russia’s grain exports may rise to 18–20 mmt next year

Russia can increase its grain exports to 18-20 mmt in the new agricultural year, which lasts from July till June 2014, from 15.4-15.5 mmt expected this year, Deputy Agriculture Minister Ilya Shestakov said.
Russia has exported 15.1 mmt of grain in the current agricultural year, which ends on June 30. Exports may reach around 500 kmt of grain in June. Shestakov said that China and Brazil have joined the list of countries where Russia can export grain.
