The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine is not planning to introduce any new taxes.

Ukrainian Income and Tax Minister Oleksandr Klymenko said this during the presentation of the Income and Tax Ministry's priorities in Brussels on Thursday, a UKRINFORM correspondent reported.

"The country's government is not considering introducing additional taxes," the minister said.

Klymenko said that there are currently no grounds to introduce any new taxes, because the state budget is being replenished in accordance with the predicted parameters.

"We are currently walking a completely different path. We see tax cuts in order to stimulate the flow of investment," the minister said.

Klymenko said that the Income and Tax Ministry is ready to review current taxes and duties, including duties on car imports, in order to bring them into conformity with the requirements of a future deep and comprehensive free trade area with the EU.
