In the next 5-10 years, Ukraine will face enormous changes in the structure of its economy, both in terms of the services sector increase, and in terms of a change in the weight of different sectors of real economy. In particular, the share of agriculture will show a persistent trend towards increase.

This opinion was expressed by the executive director of Bleyzer Foundation, Oleg Ustenko, at a roundtable on new technologies in agriculture.

"The share of agriculture in the real sector of the economy will show a stable trend of increase. This trend is on the one hand expected, and on the other - the question is how to make sure that it be not only persistent, but also quickly developing, because our country is very dependent on export markets," the expert said.

At the same time, he noted that the Ukrainian economy experiences a number of problems, including due to the slower growth. "It is clear that the Ukrainian economy needs a boost to its development," Ustenko underscored.
