Turkey, Azerbaijan to sign free trade agreement: Economy Minister ?aglayan

Azerbaijan and Turkey are working on signing a free trade agreement, Turkish Economy Minister Zafer Caglayan told reporters on Saturday in Gabala.
According to Caglayan, the working group is working to prepare an agreement that will be signed soon.
"This will significantly simplify trade operations as well as increase the volume of bilateral trade," Caglayan said.
Agreement between Georgia and the Republic of Turkey on free trade was signed on November 21, 2007 in Tbilisi.
The Azerbaijan-Georgia-Turkish business forum is held in Gabala on May 25.
According to the 2012 results, the trade turnover between Azerbaijan and Turkey amounted to $2.12 billion. In this regard, Turkey ranked first among foreign trade partners of Azerbaijan in terms of the volume of imports ($1520.04 million) with a weight of 15.75 per cent of Azerbaijani imports.
