Number of exchange contracts twofold up in January-April 2013 - National Securities and Stock Market Commission

The volume of exchange contracts with securities grew twofold against the same period of 2012.
The press service of the National Securities and Stock Market Commission informs about this.
“Over January-April 2013, against data over the same period of 2012, the volume of exchange contracts with securities grew by UAH 59.87 billion. In the current year, this index made up UAH 118.92 billion, whereas by results of four months last year it made up UAH 59.05 billion,” a statement reads.
The largest volume of trading among other financial instruments was fixed with state bonds - UAH 87.7 billion or 73.75% of total volume of the performed exchange contracts. The share of operations with the enterprises' stocks amounted to UAH 14.35 billion or 12.07%.
At the same time, over January-April this year, total volume of stocks of unit investment funds reduced by UAH 5.66 billion against 2012 to UAH 890.3 million. Currently, the volume of stocks with investment funds is UAH 10.43 billion, which is UAH 4.26 billion up against the data over the same period of 2012.
