Economic growth in Armenia, Georgia, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan will remain at a rather high level – in average at 6% and 5.8% in 2013 and 2014, according to the International Monetary Fund.
Growth slowdown is projected in Armenia, Tajikistan and Georgia, but it will increase in Kyrgyzstan due to gold production recovery.
Caucasus and Central Asia have a dynamic economic growth, however, in 2012 it made 5.7%. which is somewhat below than in the previous years.
This growth slowdown is explained by sharp decline in agricultural output in Kazakhstan and slowdown in gold production in Kyrgyzstan.
Steady growth is projected for Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan – in average at 5.8% in 2013 and 6.1% in 2014.
