Henkel to build factory in BiH

German company Henkel on Thursday announced it will invest about seven million euros (about 9.1 million U.S. dollars) to build a factory in Bileca in southeastern Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH).
The factory is to produce powder products on cement basis, such as tiles, coating and roughcast, said Wolfgang Zettl, Director of Henkel for south region of Southeast Europe.
He added the company chooses Bileca as the location for the factory because of convenience for raw material supply and export of products.
Executive Director of Henkel Ceresita Jovan Sarenac explained the factory will be modern, serving as a production and distribution center. Products will be exported to Croatia, Montenegro and Albania.
Founded in 1876, Henkel is a worldwide player in detergents and home chemistry, Beauty Care and adhesives technology. It currently employs about 47,000 people.
