Independent view on impact of global financial crisis on investments in the agricultural sector will be presented by Dr. Ronald Heisman, Professor of Rotterdam School of Management (RSM) within the Xth International Conference “Black Sea Grain: Export Forever!”.
Dr. Ronald Huisman is a Professor of Finance at Kyiv-Mohyla Business School, Associate Professor at the Erasmus School of Economics, fellow at the Amsterdam School of Real Estate, and founding partner of the FinEdge International Group. His company FinEdge manages currency, commodity and energy portfolios for pension funds, energy companies and large companies. In his research Ronald specializes on topics in commodity hedging, energy finance, behavioral finance, and real estate investments. Dr Huisman is the author of numerous publications in international journals.
Last year “Black Sea Grain” conference was attended by over 750 trade and agricultural representatives from 54 countries. Leading exporters, grain buyers, agro-holdings, banks and insurance companies traditionally participate in the Conference.
