There is every chance that the Europeans in the near future will buy not only the Ukrainian grain, but food products, including those made by agricultural cooperatives, Guljahan Kurbanova, an economist with the Regional Bureau for Europe and Central Asia, Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) said, UKRINFORM reported citing eizvestia.com.
 
"Ukraine has really proven to be a serious partner with great potential that needs to be further developed and utilized. Therefore, I think the Ukrainian products will strengthen on the European market," the expert said.
 
According to her, apart from the grain market Ukraine can also successfully take part in the competition on the European market of dairy and meat products. At the same time, Mrs. Kurbanova recalls that products of this niche are very seriously associated to quality. Ukrainian producers will have to work hard on bringing the goods into line with the European requirements and products certification.
