Trade between Kazakhstan, Ukraine amounts to $5.5 bln in 2012

The trade between Kazakhstan and Ukraine amounted to $5.5 billion in 2012 and grew by 24%, Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Serik Ahmetov said at the meeting with Ambassador of Ukraine Oleg Demin.
Serik Ahmetov noted the dynamic development of bilateral cooperation and said the ties in economic, commercial, cultural and humanitarian spheres should be expanded.
“We value and respect our relations,” Ambassador Demin said and underscored the interest of Ukraine in development of cooperation in all areas of interstate ties.
The upcoming official visit of Serik Ahmetov to Ukraine on April 4-5 was discussed during this meeting.
