«AgroInvest» — News — What should Black Sea countries expect in the new season?

What should Black Sea countries expect in the new season?

2013-03-28 14:32:37

Within the X Jubilee International Conference “Black Sea Grain: Export Forever!” will be discussed impact of drought in the Black Sea region and its effect on agricultural output, exports and pricing. This topic will be presented during Discussion panel “Ukrainian Agricultural Export and Global Food Security” by Elena Loshkareva, Analyst, UkrAgroConsult.

The report will describe 2012/13 crop year within conditions of severe drought and provide an outlook for the new 2013/2014 season.

Good overwintering conditions of crops in Russia and Ukraine and intensive planting of spring crops gives a chance for a favorable forecast for the Black Sea region’s crops.

Due to this arises a need of professional analysis of Black Sea grain markets, based on integrity of factors determining current market conditions and tendencies in the medium term, in order to assess key challenges and risks in production and consumption.

The X International Conference “Black Sea Grain-2013” organized by a consulting agency UkrAgroConsult will take place on April 17-18, 2013 in InterContinental hotel Kiev, Ukraine.
