Field Inspection in Ukraine: Winter Crops Condition and the 2013 Crop Estimation

During the X International Conference “Black Sea Grain: Export Forever!” Mark Lindeman, USDA, FAS will speak about field inspection in Ukraine, crop conditions and estimates.
«Presentation will focus chiefly on early-season prospects for 2013/14 crops in Ukraine, particularly winter grains, including fall planting and establishment, over-wintering conditions, spring soil moisture levels, and crop conditions as winter grains resume spring growth. The assessment will be based mainly on weather data, satellite imagery and observations gathered during field travel in early April. Unofficial forecasts of 2013 production of major crops will be included in the presentation»,- comments Mark.
The X Jubilee Conference “Black Sea Grain-2013” is organized by a consulting agency “UkrAgroConsult” and will take place on April 17-18, 2013 in InterContinental Hotel, Kiev, Ukraine.
