The Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) is elaborating a draft agreement on free trade in services, Deputy Chairman of the Executive Committee/CIS Executive Secretary Anatoly Dron said after a two-day meeting of the working group on the draft agreement on free trade in services on February 27 in Moscow, a UKRINFORM correspondent reported.

"The CIS has intensified its efforts to prepare a draft agreement on free trade in services, an agreement on pipeline transit and a number of other documents, developing the of provisions of the treaty on free trade area that came into force in 2012," reads the statement.

The draft agreement on free trade in services will be forwarded to the governments of the CIS states for consideration. Comments and suggestions, to be made by the parties, will be subject to review at the next meeting of the working group, scheduled for April this year.
