EU to allocate EUR 610 million to Ukraine

Ukraine and the EU have signed a memorandum of understanding and an agreement on the provision of EUR 610 million as a macro-financial loan to the state.
Such a decision was made at the 16th EU-Ukraine summit in Brussels on Monday, a UKRINFORM reporter said.
"Leaders welcomed the signing of a memorandum of understanding and a loan agreement with Ukraine on the provision of macro-financial assistance worth EUR 610 million, which will be supplemented by the further signing of an agreement between Ukraine and the International Monetary Fund," reads a joint statement adopted at the summit.
