“Uralkaliy” and “Belaruskaliy” will establish a new joint venture

Last week, the Board of Directors of the Russian OJSC "Uralkaliy" endorsed the decision to establish a joint venture with OJSC "Belaruskali" under the name of "Soyuzkaly» (Soyuzkali GmbH).
It is planned establishment will be registered in Zug, Switzerland, and its registered capital will be about 200 thousand local francs. Russian share in it will be 50%.
The new commercial organization has yet to be finally approved by the Belarusian side, as well as coordinated with the antimonopoly agencies of both countries.
In the future, "Soyuzkaly" will trade potash in many world markets. And the first deliveries are planned already for the end of the first half of this year.
Let us recall that in the present, the only and exclusive supplier of "Uralkaliy" and "Belaruskaliy" is CJSC "Belarusian Potash Company", founded in 2005. “BPC” supplies potash to Europe, India, China, the USA, Africa and to the Middle East.
