Kozhara hopes Ukraine will have two free trade areas

Ukraine may have free trade with the European Union and the Customs Union this year.
Ukrainian Foreign Minister Leonid Kozhara said this live on the Freedom of Speech program on ICTV Channel, UKRINFORM reported.
"Both unions are very important for us. This year Ukraine has a chance to have free trade with both interstate unions - the Customs Union and the European Union. I think that this task for the government and the Verkhovna Rada could be fulfilled," Kozhara said.
He said that it was important for Ukraine to develop relations both in the East and in the West and in this context he negatively regarded the blocking of parliament. "The forces that are now blocking parliament are also blocking the European integration of Ukraine," Kozhara said.
The minister also recalled that Ukraine's foreign trade with EU countries was $40 billion and with the Customs Union $60 billion.
