Deputy Minister of Economy, Vadim Kopilov, says the government has reached an agreement with the government of Belarus to import 15 thousand tons of butter. The imports will prevent price jumps and the government is renewing state sugar reserves for the same purpose. In his interview with “Delo”, he suggested that a portion of imported sugar will go into the reserves. Perhaps the Ministries should coordinate to finally let us understand whether imports are good or bad.
