Ukraine, Israel may sign FTA agreement in spring - Ambassador

Negotiations on creation of the free trade area between Ukraine and Israel are at their final stage and the parties may sign relevant agreement approximately in spring.
Israel Ambassador to Ukraine Reuven Din-El has said about this in an interview to Israeli newspaper Vesti, posted on the website of the Israeli Embassy in Ukraine.
"I think that the signature of the document will take place during a visit of the Israeli Prime Minister to Ukraine, approximately - in spring," he said.
According to the Ambassador, Ukraine is interested in creation of the free trade area with Israel - the largest part of wheat is imported to Israel just from Ukraine.
"The matter concerns exemption from customs duties. This agreement is also advantageous for Israeli firms, exporting high technologies," Reuven Din-El added.
