- World: Crude oil prices on the rise for seven consecutive weeks.
- World: CBOT March soybean futures prices are up 2.3% week-over-week. The contract price is pushed up primarily by the situation with South America’s new soybean crop.
- World: For the week, February futures price for rapeseed gained another 3%. Thursday, January 31, was the last day when the February contract was traded.
- World: Export prices for Malaysian palm oil continue rising. For the week, the price grew by USD 15/MT.
- Ukraine: Sunseed price continue rising.
- Russia: The downward trend continues in sunseed market.
- Bulgaria: Sunseed export shipments are slowing down. The price remains stable.
- Turkey:As import duty on crude sunoil was raised by, we expect Turkey to boost oilseed demand in the near term.
- Ukraine is exporting vegoils actively.
- Black Sea countries increase soybean production.
- CIS countries: The volumes of foreign trade in palm oil are much higher than last year.
