Amr Kassem is the owner and general manager of East Med Commodities Trading LLC. East Med Commodities is a brokerage firm in the field of agricultural commodities servicing the Egyptian market. Amr has over 25 years of experience in brokerage of agricultural commodities. He has represented over the years on the Egyptian market major multinational agricultural commodities trading houses such as Bunge, Nidera and Felda and several other companies. He was the director of Bunge Egypt from 2008 until 2010 and was responsible for starting up and managing the local Egyptian affiliate of Bunge. Amr sits on boards of companies in food industry, construction and ceramics – notably Nestle Waters Egypt - and holds an MBA from Texas A&M University.
