Inflation in Tajikistan makes 6.4% in 2012

The year-end inflation in Tajikistan in 2012 made 6.4%, the National Bank of Tajikistan said on Monday.
The month-end inflation in December was 0.1%. The inflation was stable over the past year, the Bank said.
The inflation rate in 2012 declined by 2.9% compared to the previous year.
This is the lowest inflation rate over the last 2 years. The year-end inflation in 2011 made 9.3%, 9.8% in 2010.
At the beginning of 2012, the Tajik authorities planned to keep inflation up to 10.5%, however, this figure was revised to 7% by the end of the year.
The inflation rate for 2013 is projected up to 9%.
