Since the beginning of the year Ukraine has already exported 13.8 million tons of grain. In addition, 1.060 million tons of cereals are kept in the port elevators, and 305,000 tons of grain has already been loaded aboard.

This was announced by Deputy Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine Ivan Bisiuk, agronews.ua reported.

"The actual volume of exports is 13.8 million tons, including 5.8 million tons of wheat (of which 4.935 million tons are food wheat), 5.957 million tons of corn and 1.825 million tons of barley," the deputy head of the department informed.

In addition, according to Ivan Bisiuk, port elevators have 1.060 million tons of grain, and 305 thousand tons were loaded aboard.

"The volume of exported and prepared for export grain is 15.2 million tons, including 5.9 million tons of wheat. Generally, the export potential this year up is up to 22-23 million tons," the deputy minister said.
