Ukraine's state debt grows to $62 billion in November

Ukraine's total state direct and guaranteed debt grew by 1.7 percent, or $1.057 billion, in November 2012, to $62.734 billion, the Ukrainian Finance Ministry reported.
"In November 2012 the sum of total state direct and guaranteed debt rose by Hr 8.448 billion in the hryvnia equivalent [to Hr 5-1.441 billion] thanks to the issue of government foreign loan bonds worth $1.25 billion at 7.8 percent per annum for ten years," reads the report.
Total state debt in January-November 2012 increased by 5.9 percent, or $3.519 billion, from $59.216 billion.
Total domestic debt rose by $4.514 billion or 20.8 percent in January-November, to $26.255 billion, while total foreign debt over the period shrank by $995 million or 2.7 percent, to $36.48 billion.
In November along total domestic debt grew by 3.2 percent or $813 million and total foreign debt was up by $244 million or 0.7 percent.
As reported, in 2013, Ukrainian authorities are to pay $9 billion on foreign debts.
Ukraine's total state debt in 2011 rose by 9.1 percent, or $4.918 billion.
